Accessibility Keyboard Shortcuts for Apple macOS

The following table shows the accessibility shortcuts or combinations of keys, as well as a couple of the Preferences settings for assistive technologies in Apple macOS.

Use these keys or keys in combination To do this
Command + Option + F5 To use the Accessibility Options shortcut panel (or if your Mac has a Touch Bar, quickly press Touch ID 3 times)

Shift (pressed 5 times) Turn Sticky Keys ON or OFF

You can configure the Accessibility System Preferences using the Accessibility Keyboard Options:
Enable Sticky Keys When this is on you can press a set of modifier keys as a sequence, instead of all at once. You can slso select whether it should beep when a modifier key is set and to display the pressed keys on the screen.

Enable Slow Keys Adjust the delay between when you press a key and when it's activated. You can also select whether to use click key sounds.

As well as the Accessibility Keyboard Options, there any numerous other Accessibility options that can be set, depending on the type of assistance required.
